Helping people lead with purpose, in their work, their community, and their everyday lives
About Jordan
I’m Jordan Reeves, Chief Pathmaker and Executive Director of Leaders of Today — a nonprofit helping students grow as leaders and build stronger communities. My faith guides everything I do, reminding me that leadership starts with serving others and living with purpose.
When I’m not writing or working on the airfield, you’ll probably find me playing pickleball, swimming, running, collecting bourbon, or serving in my community. I believe in leading with generosity, humility, and joy — whether that’s through a conference, a conversation, or a quiet moment of reflection.
I started this blog as part of my own design cycle — a rhythm of reflection that’s built into everything I do. I’m constantly reflecting — not just once in a while, but moment by moment as life happens. Whether it’s a conversation with a student, a challenge on the airfield, or a breakthrough with our Leaders of Today team, I’m always asking:
What went well? What could we improve? And what did we learn that will make us better next time?
Writing has become a way for me to process those lessons — to notice where God is at work in the middle of everyday life. Some stories come from my time on the runway, others from leading students, and a few from moments where things didn’t go as planned. But each post comes back to the same goal: to grow, to learn, and to lead with purpose.
My hope is that these reflections remind you that leadership — and faith — are both ongoing processes. We design, we test, we learn, and we try again. Growth doesn’t happen by accident; it happens when we stay humble, pay attention, and keep moving forward one intentional step at a time.

Leaders of Today
Leaders of Today empowers Central Ohio students to grow as leaders, build lasting friendships, and make a real difference in their communities. What started as a small idea after my time at the Central Ohio Leadership Academy has grown into a network of young leaders changing the world — one idea at a time.
Jesus at the Center
My faith in Jesus isn’t just part of my story — it’s the foundation of my leadership. It’s where my belief in being a Leader of Today comes from. I believe God designed each of us with purpose, and that leadership isn’t a title or a stage — it’s how we show up in the small, quiet moments every day.
I’m also deeply involved in my church, where I have the privilege of serving on Sundays. Being part of that community keeps me grounded — it’s where I get to live out what I write and teach, and where I’m constantly reminded that faith and leadership go hand in hand.
Following Jesus has taught me that intentional living isn’t about getting everything right — it’s about trusting Him with each step. The way I lead, write, and build community all come back to that simple truth: nothing good happens on accident.
Faith reminds me that when we lead with humility and let Jesus guide our steps, He can do more through our willingness than we could ever do through our readiness.
Sharing the Message
I love connecting with others through storytelling — whether it’s in a classroom, a conference, or a community event. My upcoming book, I want to be a Great Grandpa, explores what it means to live intentionally and lead faithfully.
Life Beyond the Work
When I’m not writing or working at the airport or working with the Leaders of Today team, I’m probably playing pickleball, swimming, running, collecting bourbon, or spending time with my wife, Sadie. We love serving in our community, building relationships, and finding ways to make life a little brighter for the people around us.
